The best plans start early, move indoors after lunch, and leave room for a storm delay—so I built this issue around exactly that rhythm. Downtown Stuart Car & Bike Show: Saturday, July 25, 9 a.m.–noon. It is free, easy to browse at your own pace, and focused on cars, trucks, and motorcycles from 1985 and earlier. This is the best family-friendly outdoor pick—just arrive near opening.
Cry-Baby: The Musical: Friday at 7:30 p.m., Saturday at 2 and 7:30 p.m., and Sunday at 2 p.m. The final weekend gives you four indoor chances to catch the high-energy local production; for adults or a date night, this is the most complete night-out option.
Behind the Scenes Tours at the Aquarium: Saturday, 2–2:30 p.m. The short staff-led lab tour explains the filtration, lighting, chillers, and feeding systems behind the living exhibits. It is best for ages 10 and up and perfectly timed for the hottest part of the day.

Titans of Rock: Journey and Bon Jovi Tribute: Friday, 8–10 p.m. This is the louder, sing-along choice and the most straightforward way to turn Friday into an actual night out instead of another dinner-and-home routine.
Yacht Rock Summer Tour Featuring Pablo Cruise and Orleans: Sunday, 7:30–9:30 p.m. This is the smoother, lower-key closer—worth the drive for anyone who would rather end the weekend with harmonies than another crowded brunch.

Vero’s railroad station is back—with very limited hours
The restored Vero Beach Railroad Station & Exhibit Center reopened this month after restoration. The catch: public hours are Thursdays from 1–4 p.m., with admission listed at $5 for adults and free for children 12 and under. Today’s window has passed, so put next Thursday on the calendar instead of making a weekend drive and finding a locked door.

The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission’s 2026 reminder is simple: keep beaches clean and dark, close curtains after sunset, fill sand holes, and give nesting turtles plenty of space. A small habit at the end of a beach day can keep a hatchling headed toward the ocean instead of a parking lot.
