Port Salerno also holds up well for younger kids. Sandsprit Park offers a playground, picnic areas, fishing access, and a boat ramp, while Twin Rivers Park adds broad waterfront open space and a family-friendly setting for walking, running around, and casual outdoor time. If your family’s idea of fun is more “grab dinner, walk the boardwalk, let the kids burn energy at the park, maybe get on the water this weekend,” Port Salerno has a real everyday-life advantage.

Housing is close enough that lifestyle should probably drive the final decision more than price alone.
