Breeze Airways, JetBlue and American Airlines are listed on Vero Beach Regional Airport's current airline page. Their destinations and schedules differ. Some new routes start in October or November 2026, and the current airport listing identifies JetBlue's New York JFK service as a connection through Boston. An old launch announcement is therefore not enough to plan today's nonstop flight.
Use VRB as the airport code and search the airline's booking system for both travel dates. The route snapshot below was checked September 30, 2026. It distinguishes the airport's current listings from announced future starts, then explains terminal access, parking and the ground journey that determines whether Vero is useful for a Treasure Coast trip.

Quick list
The question this guide answers
- The airport's current page lists Breeze Airways, JetBlue and American Airlines. Check the airline for destinations and departures available on your exact dates.
The current airline listing
The airport's airline information page lists Breeze destinations including White Plains/Westchester, Islip/Long Island, Providence, Hartford/Bradley, New Haven, Washington Dulles and Raleigh–Durham. JetBlue lists Boston, with New York JFK through Boston. American lists Charlotte with daily service. Those city names identify airports, not flights on every date or a promise that every itinerary is nonstop.
Pay attention to airport codes when comparing fares. Westchester HPN, Long Island ISP and New York JFK serve different starting points and have different onward travel. Hartford's Bradley BDL and New Haven HVN are also separate airports. A cheap fare to the wrong side of a region can lose its advantage once you add a long ground transfer. Enter the exact origin you can realistically reach, then compare the scheduled travel time, connection and arrival time against the alternative airport.
Announced routes have start dates
The same airport page lists Breeze service to Pittsburgh and Baltimore beginning October 1, 2026, Atlantic City beginning October 2, and Trenton beginning October 2026. American's Philadelphia service is listed as seasonal Saturdays, beginning November 7, 2026 and scheduled through April 3, 2027. These are future starts relative to this guide's September 30 check; they should not be described as already operating that day.
For an October or winter trip, search both directions rather than assuming that a route announcement supplies a convenient daily return. A Saturday seasonal flight may suit a week-long visit but fail a Tuesday business return. Look at the complete bookable itinerary and its rules before purchasing lodging. If the airline does not offer the route on your date, use another available itinerary instead of relying on the announced destination list. Schedules can change after a launch announcement, and the ticketed flight is the arrangement you need to evaluate.
Local tip
Use the article for evergreen ideas and the newsletter for what is happening right now.
That combination gives you the best shot at finding something that fits the season, your schedule, and what is actually open or active this week.
Contact the airline for tickets and baggage
Book through Breeze, JetBlue or American and review the particular fare's baggage, seat, change and cancellation terms. A small airport does not create one common baggage allowance across airlines. Compare the final price for the same party and luggage, not just the first fare shown in a search result. Include any checked bag, selected seat or connection that your actual trip requires.
The airport explicitly directs ticketing, refunds, rebooking, check-in times, flight schedules and baggage questions to the airline. Use the carrier's confirmation to establish when you need to arrive and when baggage acceptance or boarding closes. Avoid subtracting a generic “small-airport time saving” from those requirements. Families checking equipment and travelers arranging mobility assistance may need additional time. Keep the booking reference and the carrier's contact method available in case a delay changes a pickup or return plan.

The passenger terminal and parking
The airport's terminal and parking page gives the passenger terminal address as 3400 Cherokee Drive, Vero Beach. Use that address for airline passenger drop-off rather than selecting an unrelated aviation business on the airfield. Airline passengers can access the terminal from parking lots B or C. Match the entrance and parking choice to the current airport diagram, especially if arriving before daylight or with substantial luggage.
The published long-term parking policy is free parking with a 21-day limit. The airport describes limited lighting and security patrols and parking at the owner's risk. For a stay beyond 21 days, follow its instruction to provide vehicle and owner-contact information to a terminal representative. Check the policy again before a long trip; free parking today is not an indefinite storage agreement. Photograph your parking location for your own use and keep valuables out of the vehicle.
Rental cars and accessibility need a location check
The parking page places AVIS/Budget at the passenger terminal, Hertz at Sun Jet Center, and Enterprise/National at Corporate Air. Contact the rental company directly about its current pickup process and hours. A company “serving the airport” may have a separate location, shuttle or delivery arrangement. A late flight can matter if the rental desk is closed, and a booked car should not be assumed to wait indefinitely without a confirmed policy.
For an accommodation accessing the terminal from lots B or C, the airport lists the City of Vero Beach ADA coordinator at 772-978-4900, with a request at least 48 hours before flight time. Airline assistance, such as boarding or aircraft seating arrangements, belongs with the carrier as well. Describe the assistance needed for each part of the journey. An accessible parking arrangement does not automatically request airline wheelchair service, and an airline request does not necessarily address the walk from a particular parking lot.
Compare Vero with the complete alternative trip
For a Vero Beach visit, VRB may remove a longer drive from a larger airport. For Port St. Lucie, Stuart or another Treasure Coast destination, calculate the actual terminal-to-address route and pickup cost. Compare VRB's available itinerary with the airport that offers the best combination of flight schedule, fare and ground transport for your dates. A convenient inbound route can still leave a difficult outbound departure, particularly when service is seasonal or limited to selected days.
Build the comparison in one currency and for the same party: tickets, bags, seats, parking or pickup, rental car and time away from work. Include the connection if using JetBlue's listed JFK-through-Boston option. The Port St. Lucie airport explainer covers the broader airport choice, while the Vero Beach downtown walking guide helps plan the visit after arrival. Confirm accommodation and transport cancellation terms before coordinating them with a flight that has little schedule flexibility.
